have been prescrbed Keflex manytimes and it always works and quickly.

I had cut my arm on barbwire and was treated with cephalexin. It seemed to do great. I didn't like the smell they have in the bottle. It smelled like rotten eggs is this normal?

Actually, I was put on this meds for mouth surgery, and for some reason this has treated my yeast infection because before I went in surgery I had a yeast infection and now its gone. I haven't not had any side effects from this antibiotic.

I'm treating a long standing sinus infection and it's gone gone gone. Happy! But now at day 10 I have a severe itching and rash from the anus to the opening of the urethra. Going to have to stop it. Had no other problems.

After 7 days worth of this medication, I still have burning and pain when I urinate, I've had a low-grade fever consistently for the past 8 days or so. Guess I'll be heading back to the doc for something more effective!

I commented earlier on that this drug seemed to take a while to kick in. When it did, it seemed to work. However, at the end of my 7 days I still had pain, hardness and swelling. The doctor had to extend treatment for an additional 4 days. I was not amused. Since I had to take this 4 times per day, it was hard to do what with the eating at odd hours, etc. 6a.m. and 11p.m. being the worst. But, also, after a while I found what others were saying about feeling sick after taking these meds. Also, one day I didn't take it with enough water and it stuck just below my throat. I just stopped to finish one thing before going to get more water, but by then it was too late. I had to suffer with the ill smell and probably foul breath along with the taste all evening! Yuck. I had a reoccuring staph infection. The doctor told me to apply a hot compress and these two things have helped slightly but I just started early today so at this rate it should be gone by the end of tommorrow.

I was bit by some insect and developed a staph infection from it. This med worked within 18 hours of taking the first dose. It has given me some stomach upset and gas, and I am a bit tired from it (on 2K mg/day though). Nothing too bad and, frankly, I'd rather have a few side effects than an antibiotic resistant staph infection. I've had worse antibiotics. I didn't notice the smell until reading posts on here. Also, side-effects are lessening after day 5. Really, in my case, when dealing with staph and how scary it is these days, I was glad to have it work - even with a few side-effects. It may be a bit early for me to review this drug as it's only been 36hrs. I had severe severe pain and swelling. The redness has reduced somewhat but am still in pain and the swelling has not gone down. I'm hoping that by day three it will be much better, but was hoping for faster results. I must admit I apparently have an uncommon problem to begin with, especially since I'm not nursing and was not pregnant.

Went to walk-in clinic for extremely painful finger because of a hangnail that I tore. After 10 days nail is still sore to touch. In the beginning I had stomach upsets and diareah, however subsided at the present. This morning woke up with a small dark vaginal dischage which scared me as I haven't had my period for over 17 years. Going to doctor on Monday to check.

I had a cut on the bottom of my foot. It was prescribed by the ER. On the down side the medicine has a horrible odor; it caused extreme gas, loose stools and indigestion. One the plus side the medicine worked and it is only $4 for 30 caps.

THIS IS AN AMAZING DRUG. I WAS TAKING IT TO GET RID OF A UTI AND SOME CHEST CONGESTION. i WATCHED MY SKIN LOOK SO MUCH BETTER AND I MADE SURE TO TAKE IT ON A FULL STOMACH BECAUSE IT IS AN ANTIBIOTIC. I HAD A REALLY ROTTEN ODOR COMING OUT OF ME FROM THE AMOXICILLIN A DENTIST PUT ME ON AND I STARTED FEELING REALLY BAD FROM IT.DIZZINESS, RINGING IN THE EARS, HEARTBURN AND LOTS OF GAS. AFTER THE CEPHALEXIN, THE GAS IN MY STOMACH STOPPED COMPLETELY,THE RINGING WENT AWAY, THE PAIN IN MY NECK AND JAW AND THE TIGHTNESS IN MY CHEST WENT AWAY. Was taking for a eye lid infection. 500 mg 3x day for month. Stomach cramps early but was gone in few days. Caused a rash across my chest, and had itching and rash on privates.

this medcine makes me very sick and makes me have to burp alot

I just started with this medication, the only this I'm experieningis frequent bathroom runs. I dont know if the medication is causing it....

worked very well at clearing infection i think i also had iv antibiotics at dr but has caused really bad stomach cramps and diarrea and leaves bad taste in mouth if i burp after taking pill
