I really like femcon, it has worked out really well for me! I have had less nausea, headaches & my period are shorter & lighter! If you do miss 1 pill you will start bleeding, so it reminds you very much if you forget to take them the right way.

I started my period two weeks into taking this pill. It has been extremely heavy. My normal cycle is 3-4 days. This is now day 5 and I have to change a Super w/night protection pad every 2 hours or I will have leakage.

I am at day 12 of very heavy period (one maxi-pad per 45/60 minutes). I started taking this medication 3 days ago, the bleeding is still just as heavy but now I also have to contend with severe month cramps, blinding headaches and vomiting (actually the drive heaves as I cannot eat due to my stomach cramps so when I vomit, it is mostly saliva).

I am barely in my first week of taking this pill and the headaches and nausea have been so bad I'm thinking of coming off of it. I have spent every night with a severe headache and nausea and vomiting. I have taken other oral contraceptives that haven't given me this much trouble, especially this early. This pill isn't worth the trouble for me.

I have been on this drug for 17 days. I have been on my period for 17 days. I have been moody, depressed, I feel fat and tired all the time. I'm not really hungry, but when I do eat, all I want is sweets. My acne has not improved one bit-and it gave me a huge butt zit. NOT happy with this pill. Plus, i smoke and this isn't a good combination. Why would a doctor prescribe a BC pill with Iron in it if they didn't test you for anemia.... any ideas? Cuz they suck-that's why.

I have been using this pill for a bout 3 months now...my periods are more irregular than they were before. I gained 12 pounds in the first month and cannot lose it for the life of me! I am moody, depressed and have no sex drive. One can only assume that that the bc pill is responsible...I am definately unsatisfied and unhappy...will be going to DR. first thing Monday morning...but on the plus side...I'm not pregnant!!

I just finished my first pack of Femcon Fe. It's extremely easy to take; however, the first two weeks, I didn't bleed - but then, I've been bleeding rather heavy for almost 3 weeks, consistently. I'm going to try the other two packs and see what happens. I take anti-depressants along with this, and I'm very happy :] I am tired though frequently and I always have to wear protection because I keep bleeding. UUGHH

Switched from Implanon to this. Implanon was much easier, but I had lost my sex drive. This did not help. I also broke out in a spotty rash after only 2 weeks of treatment. Will not use again.

I suffer from fibroids and every other pill I have been on has caused me to bleed twice a month for about 10 days each time. That's right 20 days of bleeding. I am on my 3rd month of Femcon and I have no bleeding at all (I did have an endometrial oblation a year ago. However, I was still bleeding with the other pills). The only thing is that my eyes are dry, which i can live with. And I get an itchy rash on my legs once a month. But it seems to get better each month. I did not notice a probelm with my weight or my sex drive. Read More Read Less

I am being treated for ovarian cysts. This pill has caused me to break out like crazy! If you miss a pill be prepared to start spotting. I have also gained 5lbs and can't loose the weight. Sex drive dramatically decreased. I can't wait to stop treatment. I only have 4 more weeks. Hopefully, cysts have shrunk.

After switching to this pill and taking it for 5 months I became very tired, moody and developed a blot clot in my thigh. I have been on other birth control pills and none of them made me feel the way this one did. I am lucky the blood clot didn't kill me. I would not take this pill.

I have been on birth control for 4 years and just recently switched to this one. I have been on it for 3 months and absolutely hate it. It has completely lowered my sex drive; I am super tired all the time, and have major anxiety. Also I have gained about 5 pounds, and have not been able to get it off. I have always been extremely in to working out and exercise 5 days a week and yet I can’t loose these 5 pounds. The first 3 weeks of taking this drug my whole body felt tight, water retention.
