I just love this spray! I have suffered for many years with allergy related sinus problems. Having sinus surgery did not help. Over the years the doctors have put me on many differednt types of meds and sprays and this is the ONLY thing that has EVER worked. Funny thing is the Astelin did not. I have no nose bleeds and I think the taste is sweet. I know this may sound corny but this little sp...

I have a deviated septum along with indoor and seasonal allergies and my deviated side gets inflamed easily. My nose also runs constantly. My ENT recommended using Asterpro along with Flonase and by adding the Asterpro I noticed a difference. I only use one spray each side and make sure I’m sitting up straight and have my head tilted forward for about 10 mins. I do take it in the evening though as it makes me drowsy. I’m okay with this as it does help me sleep through the night.

Wanted something non-addictive, and would help with congestion. First time use it went straight down my throat and tasted horrible and made me feel like crap for several hours. It did not help at all, and I was even more congested and had an upset stomach. Would not recommend this. Not cheap either. Very disappointed.

Very strong spray goes right down your throat. Awful! Doesn't do what it claims either. Do not recommend this product.

This medication made me feel horrible! Dried out my nose and throat so badly and made me feel worse than before taking. Up all night trying to manage symptoms of dry mouth and sinus’s felt literally fried. Felt like I had the flu.

I have had post nasal drip for 4 months following a virus. I've tried several antihistimines, nose sprays, saline and nothing worked. Went to my ENT and suggested this spray in addition to Flonase and the combination of the two worked like a charm

Astepro is the only thing that has worked for my non-allergic rhinitis. For so many years I have tried different medications & sprays and nothing worked, until Astepro. I can finally breathe! And sleep through the night. My husband of 27 years even says he doesn't notice me snoring anymore! I don't have a problem taking it as far as taste, you just have to follow the instructions and tilt your head slightly forward when taking it. I have had side effects though. It can make me extremely tired. I have tried taking it at different times of the day and found that taking it @ 5:00pm works best for me as far as avoiding excessive fatigue from it. I also have gained weight since starting it. I have found that I can take a half dose (one spray each nostril) every other day now that I've been using it for awhile and that is effective for me. I will gladly deal with the side effects in order to finally be able to breathe easily and not live with constant congestion.Read More Read Less

When I first tried it the bitter taste was awful. I pushed though just because I thought it would get better over time. But instead it made literally everything I drank bitter after a week of use and even after I stopped. Awful experience would not recommend if you drink liquids.

Nothing has worked better for me than Astepro. Immediately I get relief. And it lasts a long time. It's kept me from being sick and out of work like years before. It does make me drowsy so I take at night.

I love this. Been taking Claritin D for years. I needed the decongestant, but it was to much I tried using regular Claritin. and/or other brands, with different dosages of the decongestants with no changes. They all dried me out to the point that I had no moisture left in my mouth. The Astepro has been a "God Send" to me. Yes there are side effects, i.e. the taste in your mouth, the tingling in the nose and the sneezing, but the the end result has been excellent to me.

Like everyone else has said, the taste is horrible. But worse than that, it gave me an awful headache and seemed to make my condition worse. I’ve gone to colloidal silver nasal spray and gotten much better results.

Terrible side effects! When i used the spray it immediately drained down my throat and left a very strong taste. Gave me horrible reflux. Within about half an hour I was SO drowsy that I felt drugged. My heart felt like it was racing. I layed down and was out for almost 2 hours waking up feeling very drugged and weird. It took a good half hour after getting up to finally shake all the wooziness out of my head. This expensive spray got tossed in the trash immediately!

I don’t typically write reviews for products but for this I feel it is my personal duty. IT’S AWFUL. Not only is the aftertaste extremely sickening, to the point where I threw up in my sink first time taking it, it has arguably made my symptoms worse. I do not recommend.

Wow! I know how to properly use nasal spray and no matter what this stuff goes to the throat and it’s disgusting! It makes my nasal passages tingle and start to sneeze and gag! What is wrong with this medicine? Never used anything like this stuff and will have to go buy my old stuff. Waste of money! And it didn’t even work. Actually made it worse!

This is the most unpleasant medicine I have ever used. The bitterness and nasal stinging was so intense. I actually started having a runny nose and started to gag. I was hoping to find an allergy spray that was steroid free but I’m sure I will not use this product again. I waisted my money and will go back to the medication I was using before.

This stuff is absolutely horrible!!!!! It did not help at all and the horrendous taste from that little bit that runs down your throat. Made me sicker than I was already. I actually returned it to the store for a refund. I only grabbed it because the store didn't have Flonase. Never again .. I'd go without before buying it.

Oh my word, what a rude medication. I decided to give this a go for the first time and as soon as I shot it up my nose I was like "oh crap!". The stinging and then the taste hit me and it was like shooting an industrial cleaning fluid into my sinuses. Then the odd sensation of a sweetness hit. I could not get the taste out of my mouth. It seemed to help a tad bit, but wayyyyyy not worth the nasty taste. WASTE of money. Going back to Nasacort!

I don’t know what the difference is between Asteoro OTC and azelastine prescription, but the OTC is killing me. Headache, nausea, chest tightness, can’t sleep… I never had any of these issues with the Rx.

Ten days in, Astepro is a miracle. I've tried everything for congestion & drainage. This is the only thing that works and it works fast. Tastes sweet. However, will use only at bedtime, otherwise I'm down for a long nap. Good thing I'm retired!
