I had severe coughs for three days i took it and prednisone two days with levaquin. now cough is about gone. take only 12 hours or more apart works great

I am on a series of psychotropic drugs and I believe that this tussionex pennkinetic caused me to sleep constantly, have some hallucinations and balance problems. I probably should not have been given this cough syrup.

I am a chronic asthmatic _ it is the only thing that controls my coughing spells.

Killer cough remedy. The overwhelming euphoria it provides is a bonus.

Certainly the best cough medicine. I have asthma with recurring bronchitis. I was first given the medication ten years ago for pneumonia, and the chest pain and coughing seized. Only a little bit is needed to be highly effective. Make sure you use a measuring device or you could take too much easily.

I have a horrible chronic cough after getting a life threatening case of pneumonia and ending up with a trach for a couple of months. This is the only cough medicine that controls it right now. I don't even have to take a full dose and I have 12 hours of relief.

I love this stuff best cough med out there. Took for the first time last spring ,my son had some from a bad episode of bronchial asthma, I remembered I had it when I was desparate for cough relief due to bronchitus and nothing was working so I took his and what relief!!!! Now I am fighting a terrible sinus infection and we go to the same allergy asthma doc and he prescribed me some I,ll tell you the BEST and If you have children that are being kept up all night w/ a cough if they're 6 and up they can take . This medication totally helped me with my deep chest cough. I thought I was going to end up in the hospital with pneumonia, but this stuff is breaking up my cough very well. It does make me feel like I've been seriously drugged, but I don't mind one little bit.

I had an upper resperitory infection was coughing for hours and could not sleep I took a sip and underestimated the potency it put me straight to bed slept through the night cough and congestion free and pain free. awesome drug

Very good drug. Im a Firefighter/EMT, and have been exposed to many things. Ive had Pleauricy among other respitory issues. I also have really bad allergies. Great durg! Worth the money. Thanks Doc!!!!

This medication is a life saver.I get the worst cough where my chest kills me and my back hurts..One teaspoon and relief..

i thought i was not gonna ever find any relief from the cough i had i finally went to a walk in clinic and was prescribed this cough syrup it was a little pricy but it was well worth every penny its was very effective and after taking it a couple time it reall helped my cough alot and i feel much better dont wanna shoot my head off anymore lol thatnks for whom ever created this med.

Finally some relief from my broncial cough. My friends thought I was going into some kind of seizure when I started coughing. Thanks to the emergency room physician I am now getting better.

My allergies cause me to cough so hard and continuously I vomit, dry heave, gag, and sometimes loose bladder control. I can't sleep or eat and drinking is even difficult due to spasming throat muscles. My entire body ends up aching and exhausting, including a head-ache from the aggressive cough. The medication stops the coughing COMPLETELY in 10-30 minutes. It does cause loopiness, drowsiness, nauseau, random itching, hot flashes and flushing. HOWEVER, I have found if I drink PLENTY of water for at least 4-5 hours after taking (not just the glass it recommends at dosing) that I have NONE of these side-effects. I work at a very active after-school program with children and as long as I keep drinking from my water bottle regularly, I have no bad side-effects and no problem keeping up with the kids. Obviously, at night, I just drink one LARGE glass of water and go to bed and sleep through any side-effects.Read More Read Less
