This medication was given to me while I was hospitalized for chronic heart failure. I quickly learned that I was allergic to it. Just moments after injecting into my IV, I had the worst panic attack of my life, and felt incredibly alone and confused. I cussed my father out (which I'd never done before) and generally felt panicked and crazy upset. I was so upset I had to get up and pace, but I was tied to my IV pole, which couldn't be moved, so I paced in a small 'U' shape at the head of my bed. Finally a nurse came to check on me to see how I was feeling and noticed the "classic" signs of an allergic reaction to this drug. She gave me something and after about 20mins I started to feel much better. Did I mention that I was 15 years old when this happened? Yeah...not fun. I don't recommend this drug to anyone. I use Zofran. It's my amazing anti nausea drug. I get it through the IV while in hospital, but at home I have tablets that I stick under my tongue.Read More Read Less

I'M A 65 YR OLD WHO HAS BEEN ON REGLAN SINCE 2004. I NOTICED AFTER EATING, I WOULD GET THE HICCUPS TO THE POINT OF "ACTUALL HURTNG" MY INSDES. REGLAN HAS STOPPED THAT, BUT NOW I HAVE NOTICED WILL CATCH MYSELF READING, OR NOT BEING CAREFUL AND MY TONGUE IS HANGING OUT, IS THIS SOMETHING TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT?

The Dr. told me they were trying this drug as a treatment for migraines. Over time I discovered that the drug worked really well but only if it were used in the early stages of a migraine incident. For me it must be taken with the onset of an aura and early but escalating pain. I have learned to inject myself with 2cc IM with a repeat in 3-4 hours. If I get the shot in time it will totally defeat the migraine. If I miss that window of opportunity I don't bother taking the med. It will not be effective and is a waste of an expensive medication. Since I have chronic migraines I now carry an ampule, syringe and needle with me almost all the time. After many years of searching and trying things I have finally found an answer to my migraines.Read More Read Less
