Was put on Tarina after Microgestin due to PPHD. I had heavy period-like symptoms in the first few months but the bigger breast size made it worth putting up with. It's been a year and a half and I just realized that all the symptoms I've been feeling is because of this pill. Loss of appetite, I lost almost 30lbs in 3months with no change in diet, EXTREME mood swings like Crying or angry for no re...

I started taking this pill about 3 weeks ago and I am four pills away from my placebo pills. This is the first birth control I have ever used so I wasn't sure what to compare it to. Overall, most side effects I read up on Tarina were true, but we all have different bodies that react differently. My first week on Tarina I experienced awful diarrhea every morning and would wake up incredibly nauseou...

I've been using this for three months, switching from microgestin. I've also experienced nausea, dizziness, blurred vision, calf pain, fatigue, and a couple migraines ( I've never had a migraine in my life before starting this drug). Another user mentioned getting this, and I also developed a lump in my right breast, to my great distress. I've stopped taking it today and hope it disappears. Also experienced the heavy spotting after the first week of use. I basically had two periods within 2 weeks.Read More Read Less

I was taking Microgestin prior to switching over to Tarina. I notice I'm more irritable/emotional and also feel extremely tired when it's that time of the month, I find myself taking 3 hour naps during the day and tired again by 7/8 (Never had that issue on Microgestin). My period is very light (just using panty liners) lasting about 3 days. I notice a loss of appetite and am gassy/bloated.

I started using tarina about 5 months ago. Since then I have encountered mood swings and extreme fatigue. I also Have migraines and had a lump in my right breast. Another side effect is dizzy, confusion, and water retention. My ankles and feet swell randomly. I have since stopped using this cold turkey after putting two and two together realizing after 5 months in my system it was the pill.

Maybe this is effective as a birth control, but ever since I started taking it (about three weeks ago), I have been substantially more irritable. We ran out of cream cheese and I cried. I also swore at the radio. Also, after I take it my appetite is decreased. And for the entire second week I had pretty heavy spotting (even though I had had my period right before starting birth control). I wonder if any other people had changes in their mood after taking Tarina Fe 1/20. I will continue my virtual search...Read More Read Less

I have been having bleeding mid-cycle as if I am having two periods a month. It started the first month I started taking Tarina instead of the other generic brand. I have felt very different ever since starting this BC.
