I was prescribed Elidel by another dermatologist for my seborrheic dermatitis, which didn't help and just burned. I went to another and he prescribed Desonide, and it cleared it right up without any burning or anything.

Excellent medicine that was given to me for what looked a rash around the inside of my crotch...sorta like the Jokey Itch does. It cleared up the rash quickly.

I use this cream for red inflamed skin on the Vulva. It soothes the irritation and clears the redness over night. I was treated for Yeast infection for years with little success. This cream was the answer to my prayers.

Follow the usage instructions on this! I was prescribed this to treat seborrheic dermatitis and it worked quickly and wonderfully. The label said only to use it for 2 weeks, but when I stopped using it my condition came back. I continued to use this for months before returning to my dermatologist (my condition was under control but I knew that the medication was not for long term use). I was told, after the fact, that once you stop this medication your condition worsens (and for some time). I've been prescribed something else to deal with my dermatitis, but my face has flared up so badly. I just have to wait for it to pass and see if the new medication will help. I wish that I would have followed the instructions and stopped using it after 2 weeks. Read More Read Less

Desonide is a great topical cream, I started to see results within days.I wish there was something I could use daily so that I don't have to deal with the flare ups. I'm glad that I have my beautiful skin back.

I am pretty sure I have perioral dermatitis. I have yet to see a dermatologist because their offices are backed up. I also was diagnosed with tinea versicolor (which is a fungus that grows inside of you and shows up on your abdomen/back with white, flaky circles). I got desonide Rx for my facial rash and it cleared it up some the first time I have used it. Now, my face is getting worse and I hate it. I am so embarrassed because I actually work in a hospital and this dermatitis is annoying to deal with. The ointment is okay, but I think its all on the severity of the patient's condition and the pt.'s body composition. Read More Read Less

I had very red, dry, scaly, parts near my nose. It progressively got worse until I went to the dermatologist. He prescribed the cream and the problem ceased within a couple of days.

I was using Aldara cream on my chest. Many red blotchy sores appeared and itched like crazy. My dermatologist prescribed Desonide cream to help stop the intense itching. It did not help.

I have been using this cream for a couple of years now. I have Atopic Dermatitis and every so often I wake up with a break out on the area around my nose and mouth. I just rub on some of this cream and usually within an hour the redness is gone and the "bumps" are completely gone. I am very pleased with this cream.

My dermatologist diagnosed my lower face, chin and neck "redness" as eczema in April. He prescribed Desonide (0.05%) ointment 2-3 times a day. Condition usually clears up in one day and I stop use. I repeat treatment whenever I get another flare-up, maybe once every week to 10 days. Works for me.

My daughter has severe allergies and has had bad eczema since 6 months of age. We use this everywhere she has bad flareups. There are some times where it takes longer to be effective but w/o it my daughter would be suffering all the time.

I have Seborrheic Dermatitis. I have had it for years and this was what my Dermatologist prescribed to me. Desonide lotion is the best because it clears it up in a day when I have a flare up. I have used this product for over 10 years. Its great.
