Yes this helps with urine flow, that is about it. Here is the amazing part. At the generic price of $204./30 days, the cost of the ingredient is.... $17.50 /mg $17500.00/gram $7,936,250.00/lb, yes folks almost 8 million dollars for a pound. For that you could get 413.35 lbs of gold Illicit drug dealers are selling the wrong stuff on the street, a kilo of this goes for $17,500,000., yes 17...

I am a 68 year old male complicated with a major urethral stricture due to trauma. This medication brought me relief that I have seen or felt in years.

Went from waking 4x to 2x per night. Not worth it for the sexual dysfunction side effects. Originally attributed it to old age.

I have used Flomax off and on for several years. This last time for about 2 years. Side effects were too much, benefits not good. Stopped taking it six weeks ago and now feel much better. Less urgency, sex drive and climax is back.

Not particularly helpful for frequent and slow urination. Up 3.5 times/night. Switching to Terazosin now. We'll see...

I'm having radiation of the prostate due to advancing cancer. The radiation caused me to feel that I had to "go" pretty much constantly, while many times I either couldn't "go" or had a weak stream. These are common side effects of the radiation. After the second dose of Flomax, these symptoms were SIGNIFICANTLY improved. And I haven't had the sinus or erection side effects at all. My stream is right back to normal. For me, it's been a wonder drug.

Sleeping problems solved. As a 67 year old male I was getting up once or twice every night to urinate, and had to urinate every hour or two during the day. After one month of Flomax (Tamsulosin) the problems were corrected. I can now sleep 7 or 8 hours without waking up to urinate, and can go four hours during the day. Yes, much less semen when I ejaculate, but at age 67 not a problem. No other noticeable side effects. I am very satisfied with the results.

I was prescribed this medicine while having kidney stones. I didn't have a good experience with this medicine. The only thing I noticed that it did do was cause me new pain when urinating. I now have more pain to deal with. In my opinion this medicine is junk and mine went into the trash.

Flomax solved my urination problems. Side effects, however, were brutal. My blood pressure is on the low side and Flomax lowers blood pressure even more. That caused cluster headaches, dizziness, major sleep problems (it's an NCS), runny nose and more. After three weeks, I decided the negative side effects were too miserable to continue.

I have been diagnosed with BPH and I had been on this medication for three months. It did not improve urination flow at all. I had no ejaculation what's so ever and I usually have a large ejaculation volume and I stopped using flowers after three months.

It has stopped getting up 2 or 3 times a night to urinate. As a diabetic it lowers my sugar very low. Uuable to keep an erection even after taking Viagra. At the beginning I would have dry orgasms, but that was okay, now I cannot reach an orgasm. Very very depressing. I have cold systems since the beginning and have only started 3 weeks ago. I have an followup after 4 weeks and would never recommend this medicine.

Flomax never really did work for me. The Doc said it would work well, but it never did. After months on it, I stopped and saw very little difference. So now I'm trying Alfuzosin

Medication did very little to relieve my symptoms of BPH. The side effect of causing my pupils to not dilate as the should was very upsetting for me as my opthamologist told me this would make cataract surgery more difficult and the side effect is irreversible. My family practitioner was not aware of this side effect when he prescribed Flomax.

After 4 years of very limited success,I began to experience erectile disfunction. I stopped taking flowmax Dec. 5 2015 and within 3 to 4 weeks erections came back (rock hard) and I noticed a greater volume of ejaculate.it is a little harder to pee now but that is an acceptable tradeoff for the return of my sex life

Beware. Have been on the drug for two weeks. No noticeable improvements. Side effects are stuffiness, ringing in the ears, shortness of breath, and no ejaculation at all. I am quitting. Hope the negative effects reverse

Been on it for 10 days. It seems to have helped with urination. Side effects have been stuffy nose, erection seems about the same, no ejaculate, but after orgasm, my testicles are very painful for a few days, and one dizzy weak spell. I hope it gets better, but it looks like those are some of the most common side effects

The drug helped somewhat during urination by increasing output. The side-effects included drowsiness, extreme muscle pain in legs (which I have never experienced previously)and slight back pain. Test results of this drug need validation by independent evaluators.
