It seems to work because I haven't had problems with my stents for 13 years); however I am not sure what is causing my muscular ache and loss. I am also on Crestor which might be affecting muscle function - as I believe Lipitor did. (Both of these latter drugs are statins for treating cholesterol)

I had a heart attack three months ago. After getting two coronary stents, my doctor prescribed clopidogrel. I have nausea in the morning and frequent headaches but I am taking a lot of medication so I cannot say they are caused by clopidogrel. However, the medicine does cause a lot of bruising that is unsightly and painful.

After 5 days of use after 3 stents were installed, this medication has caused me sever heartburn and an upset stomach that no over the counter anti-acid drug will stop. I have not slept over 2 hours each night since taking it. The doctor and pharmacist think I'm nuts and will not give me any help but say no one else has the same problem with this drug but I MUST keep taking it to live for at least 30 days, or that is if I live that long.

I had heart attach in 11-2010, had stents on 3-arteries, had Plavix from that time no problem until 6-months ago changed to Clopidogrel bisulfate 75MG. Lately I feel like a pinch nerve between the head and shoulder which I didn't felt while under Plavix. The pinch nerve is new to me and I wonder if this is a side effect from Clopidogrel. I will call the Doctor tomorrow to find out or better switch to Plavix.

The effectiveness of the drug has been excellent, however I am experiencing severe acid reflux and vomiting. Pepcid does not seem to be helping much. I would like to see if I can take Cimetidine instead.
