I've been on on the IM for 20 years. I've tried several times for 3 months at a time to get off of it, but my hot flashes are horrendous. 99% of my doctors tell me not to take it, but 1% do - why? Because my bone density is +2 at age 63. Now I've been cut off and can't get my shots anymore. Pills don't work and patches I'm allergic to. The pros out weigh the cons in my situation.

This drug is a disaster...I was shown by the nurse how to inject my quadricep muscle...now I'm in so much pain I can't walk...

It will help if typical graphs of estrogen levels (E2) associated with the treatment are also provided. Patients would then be able to describe their experiences in a better way.

Will start injections tomorrow for the second IVF cycle we've been on. I'm a gestational carrier and I have to say the estradiol and progesterone shots are not my favorite thing in the world but worth the trouble in the end. Especially for our intended parents!
