I felt like the bowel movements I was having were not proportional to the amount of food that I ate, and that they were quite irregular at that, I always felt full and bloated. So I took ex lax maximum strength. And let me tell you THIS WORKS! Took it at 9pm yesterday, it is 8:40 am and I'm literally destroying the toilet right now.

Using this drug I took the recommended dose and went to bed. I woke up with excruciating stomach pain and after crawling around trying to relieve it I decided to try and go to the washroom. I sat until my legs were asleep and my body still wouldn't pass anything! I tried to go back to bed and relax only the pain became worse. I was taking Oxycodone for a surgery I had gotten, and the needs caused me to be very constipated. I haven't had a BM in over 4 days. I drank half a gallon of prune juice earlier in the day even, and to no avail. Nothing seemed to be working. The pain in my stomach was so intense I had my boyfriend go get me laxatives. Within 10 minutes of taking two capsules, my stomach started rumbling and finally the relief I needed. I WOULD NOT use if you have a fancy dinner, wedding, or event to go to that day. Easy use pop it when you want to go. Although, I took two recommended on the label. 3 hours later little gas here & there. Nothing pulling in. Said what the hell took another 5 hours in after the first two...u fortunately same result just gas. Had a bit of cramps but I would've dealt had it made me go but the cramps were pointless. Won't take again and this was maximum strength.

I took Ex Lax Maximum Strength after I decided that it was quite abnormal that my last significant bowel movement was a month ago. I took 4 pills at 6:00 am before work. I later realized that this was a terrible idea. About 6 hours later, around noon. I suddenly felt a terrible urge and locked myself in the bathroom. What followed was a violent expulsion of god knows what. It was extremely effective, but not satisfying. AT ALL

I would like to know why it is not available any longer, I have always used this product with GREAT success WHERE CAN I BUY IT NOW?

I have taken Ex-lax before when I was constipated. It doesn't usually do too much for me, so this time I decided to try maximum strength. I took three pills before bed around 10:00. Perhaps three was too much. I woke up about half an hour ago with the extreme urge to use the toilet. It relieved my constipation and then some. I am currently up in the middle of the night with the runs...

Severe cramps and seems to do too good of a job

flat out do not work no matter how many you take. maximum strength it is not.

After taking exlax once, i wasn't able to use the bathroom on my own, regularly. After 8 months of taking exlax, weekly! I'm noticing some pretty serious side effect of long term use of this drug. I get bad headaches and really swollen feet. Im tired ALL the time and never feel myself. If you decide to take exlax, make sure you REALLY need it. Laxative works wellin 12 hours. But I do not have another bowel movement for 5 - 7 days

I tried this and took the recommended dose. Nothing happened. The next day I took a huge dose of it (8 tablets) and still nothing. Given the amount I took I expected to be in the bathroom most of the day. Other laxatives have worked so I use them now. Don't know why but this just doesn't do anything for me.

Wal-Greens brand for this was insainly un- gentle, in fact it was horrible. Cramps were like child birth and I now have bloody mucus in my stool. Do not take this ever, never. Very not gentle, it's down rite hostel! Also made me nauseous for hours.

I use this medication often. I use it about twice a month. I usually take two pills before bed and always wake up around 5-6 a.m. with lots of cramps. But it sure helps empty your stomach. If you cannot take stomach pains well then I do not recommend this product.

Horrible cramping/nausea from 2 a.m. until 6 a.m. NOT GENTLE as the package suggests.
