Percocet goes straight to my pain and I have sever chronic pain! It does not make me dizzy or nauseated. I HAVE NO side effects and do not feel I need to take more than needed. One would know if you take too much because you would get dizzy or euphoric. Any pain medication that you feel any euphoria, in my opinion, has addictive properties. When Percocet 5/325 or a 10/325 cut in half, relieves m...

I was prescribed Percocet/Oxcodone following my GYN surgery. It had not effect on my pain, just made me sleep for 2 hours. I know several people who have been prescribed this drug and have the same comments. When I called my doctor's office after no relief from the pain, the nurse stated the drug was only meant to 'sedate' me not to relieve the pain. I remember the post-op nurse saying the same...

After taking Vicodin every 4 hrs for a migraine that was going in to it's 2nd day I took 1 10/325 Percocet and it was gone in 30 minutes. My only issue the medication it made me feel out of control, not aware of my surroundings and that is a feeling I am not familiar with.

I have neuropathy in my feet and I just found out I have it in my jaw. I am pu 26 yrs old. This medicine is the only medicine that helps from the extreme pain I have in my jaw right now. I take it every 4 hours as need but I try to wait to take it as long as I can. I'm going to see a neuropathy specialist soon and I was wondering what kind of medication that would give for this besides we are, that would help. I had a Lyrica for my feet when I was first diagnosed with neuropathy but it didn't help much. I was still on some pain medication. So now I'm worried want anything actually hope the neuropathy? Can someone please give me some answers for this or the experience they've had? Thank you Read More Read Less

I had a "core biopsy" in my left breast, which became infected. The pain was unbearable, my clothing was painful. I called my surgeon, he wanted me in right away, He prescribed #60 5/325mg every 6 hrs prn,& Keflex 500mg every 6 hours. I have a high tolerance for pain. Needless to say, they did their job...

Wow, I just found out I use an awful lot of Percocet! I will take 2x 5/325 and it reduces pain but not by much. I get 20 per month and so can't get enough to be an addict but I must have built up some tolerance. For my bunion surgery I'm going to get Oxycodone without the Tylenol. I hope I get enough! My surgery is May 20 and ill have a titanium plate in my foot. Can anyone comment as to why I need to take so much even though I only get 20 per month and can go a week easily without it? I've been taking it for 3 years. Read More Read Less

I have been using this drug for pain control for a caneroid tumor. In most instances, one tablet provides relief within 45 minutes. There is a constipation side effect that has been quite troubling at times.

I had two wisdom teeth ectracted a few weeks ago and was prescribed the 5/325 oxy/acetaminophen. No notable side effects. it was a pretty decent painkiller taking 1-2. Quite honestly 2 ibuprofen worked better for me but that's just me. However, post surgery I was extremely sore in my jaw all the way up through my head and without the Percocet I never would have slept. So I give it a B in pan relief and an A+ in sleep aid.

It doesn't last long enough. Pain from from a tooth infection and right on the four hour mark the pain came back. It did make me nausea but after I had a snack I felt much better.

I was recently given this drug for pain after surgery.Dose was 1-2 pills as needed. I took one and it did no good-2 hours later took another and became so sick for hours-was like motion sickness x10. Was much better to endure the pain than feel like that. Really glad for the people it has and does help. It's just not for me.

I broke my elbow and needed surgery to repair the bone and tendons. I had 2 screws put in 3 weeks ago and am still in great pain. This drug only worked for the first 2 weeks then it was worthless. My Dr. cut back my dose from every 4 hours to 6 hours and it just didnt cut it. It also made my feel sick and gave me a headache

I'm 19 and have chronic TMJ pain which runs in family. I've tried Vicodin (Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen) which didn't help the stabbing and dull pain in my jaw. Went to the ER and was given Percocet 5/325. This drug stopped the pain COMPLETELY for hours and had no side effects. It does cause drowsiness, so do not operate machinery or drive until you know how it effects you. Aside from that, Percocet is really a lifesaver for moderate-to serve pain. Since I have legitimate pain i also don't have those "addictive" feelings that narcotics tend to have.Read More Read Less
