My doctor prescribed me this drug. This is the first I have ever taking antibiotics or any type medication. During that time i develop this indescribable itch all over my body. soon after that i developed hives, swellings and then lesions all over my body. What was worst, my doctor didn't follow-up with even after I told about my reaction. My skin is ruin, i still have lesions on my skins.

I had a urinary tract infection as well as a sinus infection and taken this medicine was closing my throat, made my tongue tingle and making it hard for me to breath. Please check into these side effects when you are prescribed this medicine. I have only a couple doses left and feel compelled to keep taking it so that my infection does not come back although it is aggrevating my sinus.

Prescribed Cipro (500mg, 2x a day for 10 days) by MD for UTI. Went very well, make sure to take with food or you could become nauseous. Cleared up infection with little (nausea, loss of appetite) side effects. Would not hesitate to take this medication again.

I took a 500 mg pill twice a day for a possible bladder infection for 5 days, as a previous urine test indicated blood. I was retested after the medicine was completed, only to find I still have hematuria. I hope I did not take this medication for nothing and cause unneccessary damage with too much antibiotic!!
