I have had excellent results-what a relief to be free of burning and other reflux symptoms! I do feel very tired on 20 mg dose and wish the manufacturer would make a 10 mg dose for people like me. I do not want to stop taking it!!!

If I forget my medicene by 10:00 I start to feel sick. I was even getting sick with just drinking water so this medicene has been a blessing.

Prescribed 4 yrs. ago to control stomache acid causing erosions in my esophagus. It works like nothing else. Unfortunately some foods (esp. nuts)are now very difficult to digest. Worth the tradeoff. Must be taken every day.

My hemmorhoids have disappeared completely after three days of nexium

When I was age 6 or 7 I gat a very bad stomach virus which caused me to throw up every day for 2 weeks, as a result my stomach was agitated enough to continue to cause me to thorw up for another 2 weeks. Due to this excessive vomiting I was struck witha hiatal hernia and have had stomach problems ever sine. I also have 2 ulcers and severe Acid Reflux. This drug almost always takes care of my stomach issues and very rarely do I have to double dose. I would recommend this drug. Though it says I have been on it for 2 years in total I have probably been on it about 3 1/2. Sometimes I still have the same pain, not as bad but mine works it's way from the stomach. This is what the doctors say I have, but I'm not sure I believe them. Not denial, just want to feel 100% better!

i did very fine for six years on the nexium and then i developed severe pain and difficulty swallowing and subsequently diagnosed with candida of the esophagus i lost 30 pounds and had three months of agony.

Nexium has been a miracle for me. I used to wake up every morning unable to eat anything because it made me vomit. My stomach was sensitive to almost anything with tomatoes, spices, or fried. Now I have a 'cast iron' digestive tract. My insurance doesn't like paying for Nexium. This is my third carrier in a row that considers it too expensive and wants me to try alternatives. In my experience alternatives don't work. I'm willing to pay $200 co-pay for three months worth (90 pills) of Nexium. I do worry about those who don't have this option. Helped my reflux disease but after taking it for about 3 years my skin is itchy with small areas of rashy type eruptions which come and go. I am working on finding solution to rash now.

I have taken a larger dosage than normal, 80 mg daily for about 100 days, but it was significantly reduced my associated coughing and clearing of the throat.

the only reason i am not truely satisfied. is i cannot not take it. been taking it for 3 years 80mg a day and if i miss a dose i am in seriuos pain for 2 days. it does work, but it is also expensive. but i cant live without it.

I have taken nexium for about 4 years, 1 year i took it consistantly, and then i stopped taking it daily because of stomach pain/nausea. I now only take it when I get very stressed.

Condition gone after 2 days. A bit of constipation, but that too went away quickly. Would recommend this product to all who need it !! Works GREAT !! I almost forgot what it's like to be symtom free.

Nexium has changed my life. With GERD, I was gagging with my first bite of lunch. Zantac and eventually Nexium cleared up my incessant heartburn and reflux. I only am aware of my condition when I miss a daily dose

I am taking Nexium b/c it's cheaper than Aciphex. Both work fine for me. I can have citrus fruit again, but I still can't go near garlic.
