Hello I used to be in the Army but had to retire due to debilitating pain suffered from a back injury. I went from civilian doctors to the ones at the VA hospital. Am I EVER glad I did that, because now I am getting the relief I need. I take 4 15 mg oxycodone 4 times a day, and I cannot believe how much more I can do with my life. I just wanted to say on here that there is a BIG difference bet...

This was the worst idea for a painkiller. Do not take this.

it is a short term pain reliever. Yo must take it along with a long term pain reliever as this med is prescribed to me for break-through pain.

When I first started taking these for a cervical disorder I became nauseous & very dry mouth. I then began to cut in half & graduated up to a whole pill in a couple of weeks. It is a must that you eat a little before taking. Do not wait for the pain to become a 10, take a prescribed so that your body will always (sic) have a trace of it & there will be no withdrawal. I also have HBP.Excellent choice of medication for Neuropathic Pin. THANX !!!

This is a great medication for my pain. However, to the previous reviewer, yes it does affect my mood (as most narcotics do). Unfortunately, I've never taken a narcotic that didn't affect my mood (negatively). Hopefully they will be able to change that in the future.

My husband is on 30 mgs. a day. I notice his attitude is getting to be more angry and just not easy to live with much longer. He cannot go without it because he tried one time and I almost had to take him to the emergency room is was so sick. So I gave him one. My question is, does anyone notice a bad attitude with anyone they know?

Roxicodone is great for pain. But it is very addicting. I have been taking less and dealing with the pain. I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH TOUGH WITHDRAWS. I was on 6 30mgs daily down to 2 daily. I wish I was never prescribed them. FloridagirlKay
